Equip, Disney World, Sick, oh my

From our archived blog:

Equip has been (is) intense. We have learned a great deal. A large portion we are still trying to soak in to see what we have missed. I have a feeling this will continue for some time after we get home. We were privileged that Melissa's mom came out to take us to Disney World. We could not afford it, and Cheryl stepped up and paid for all of us to go. It was awesome! The kids loved every minute. The kids got to meet the princesses and Mickey. The dresses the girls are wearing were made by my mom, Marie. She had several sleepless nights, but they were/are gorgeous dresses. Not like the fake costume dresses everyone else was wearing ;). Sophia enjoyed greatly the roller coasters with Grandma (Melissa's mom). Makaylah had fun, but not on the roller coasters or Splash Mountain. All of us loved the Dumbo ride. Even if I got a bit sick of the constant up and down that the kids wanted to do. Isaiah had a harder time picking his favorite, but he was beginning not to feel good. Nehemiah loved Mickey Mouse. We all had a great time! However, the second day at Disney World, Isaiah started running a fever. We were not exactly sure how high. Once we got back on campus at Wycliffe Bible Translators we had to borrow a thermometer. His fever and not feeling well has gone on now for about three days.  Yesterday we went to see the doctor who serves on staff at Wycliffe. Good news was that he did not have strep or anything very serious. Just a nasty virus. We had started him on some benadryl the night before and he was beginning to clear up. Because of his fever, Melissa and I have had to make a lot of adjustments this week. One of us has to stay with the little guy all week. So we have divided up the rest of the week of classes. We are trying to figure out how we can get the most out of our classes with only one of us there.
