May 13: Pray for healthy transitions for Sophia as she says goodbye to friends, family, familiar places and ways of doing things. Ask for healthy grieving, and an excitement for what is to come in PNG.

Sophia looks towards Papua New Guinea with a wonderful amount of excitement, which we rejoice over!
Sophia made this after we joined Wycliffe. A little man inviting us to his home in PNG, with a map that includes volcanoes :)
Sophia also struggles with fear and anxiety over certain types of situations. Please join us in praying that God will help her with this in particular as she transitions.
Lord, we thank you for the excitement Sophia has about going to Papua New Guinea! We know that you will be with her there. God, when Sophia is afraid, help her to put her trust in you. Help her praise you and your Word, and to trust in you. Lord, help her to say, "I shall not be afraid!" (Ps. 56:4) You are Sophia's hope. You are her rock and her only salvation. Her fortress. Help her to run to you, so she will not be shaken. Help Sophia to trust in you at all times, and to pour out her heart before You. You are a refuge for Sophia in every situation. (Ps.62:5-8). May every transition draw her closer to You. Thank you, Lord! Amen.
