From our archived blog:
Do you remember in school ever getting a progress report (report card, evaluation, etc)? I do. Most of the time my grades were not that bad, but from time to time (while I was in public school), I would bring home one of these cards with a not so good grade on it. Now mind you a not so good grade in the Smith home was (and still is) a B-. Just letting you know. (Notice that I gave myself an A+ in Python ;)).
Well this post doesn't have much to do with one of these progress reports. It does have everything to do with reporting our progress through the Wycliffe Bible Translators application for membership! Why do I hear murmurs? So with that in mind this post is really more like:
Quite a bit of progress has been made on our application. In fact technically the application is now officially finished. We conducted our interviews about a month ago, but all of them had to be transcribed. Then our church leadership had to be interviewed and that had to be transcribed. As of today Melissa and I, are happy to let you know that all of these steps are now completed! We now wait an approval as candidates for membership into Wycliffe!
Thank you, so much for all the prayer and encouragement. It has meant a great deal, but since there is still a long road ahead of us, I'd ask you to keep praying!
