We received our prefield comprehensive plan yesterday, signed our agreement to it, and today we received the e-mail letting us know that we are Wycliffe members!!!! I'm not sure if I can possibly use enough explanation points for that statement!! As part of our prefield plan, we received an assignment for Papua New Guinea with David filling a position of software developer. This is absolutely where we have felt drawn, so we are completely overjoyed! I know we've received several questions about Papua New Guinea over the last several months from those of you who knew we felt drawn there, so we are planning another post soon to share some details. We want to tell you about the country and what we know so far about life there as missionaries. Another aspect of our prefield plan is that we are scheduled to attend the Equip training session that begins the end of August. Please begin praying that our life will be as free from outside distractions during that time as possible, so that we can focus fully on our coursework and reading for that. We would also appreciate your prayers that the financial needs for attending the session will be met by the payment deadline in September.
